Test drive at London Transport Museum
London transport museum’s depot, in Acton, will open for an event-packed weekend of family fun this Saturday and Sunday
The depot houses more than 70 road and rail vehicles from the past, present and future, along with around 370,000 objects. Ride the Museum’s miniature railway on a stream or electric train. Trips are also available on full size heritage vehicles including London’s first prototype Route master bus, the RM1.

Transport for London’s Safety & Citizenship Team will be on hand to run practical, fun workshops on using transport in the capital safely. Highlights include a new interactive van, fitted out as a fully working Underground platform complete with help point, virtual ticket machine and videos.
There will also be tours of the posters and artworks stores and transport-related merchandise.
