Liberty Festival London  is an annual celebration in the UK's most beautiful Trafalgar Square, celebrating the participation of disabled and hearing-impaired people in London's culture. Awash with the sports, arts and children's areas, Liberty Festival 2010 in London will see various exciting activities like singing, dancing and acting from disabled people.

London Liberty Festival provides deaf and disabled people a golden platform to expose their instinctive talent in front of British people. Various disabled artists and performers from every corner of the UK will be seen at London's Trafalgar Square taking part in several art events, circus, comedy and music shows.

There will be a choice of stalls and food also available, so Liberty London Festival '10 is a perfect place for free entertainment for a whole family and friends! Trafalgar Square in London, which was built to commemorate Nelson's victory at the battle of Trafalgar in 1805, is a spacious and attractive part of the London city to meet friends, family and at the same time share the sunshine with those who instigated the Liberty Festival in London.


Celebrating 24 years of the Disability Arts Forum
This year marks the 24th anniversary of the London Disability Arts Forum and as such, Liberty 2010 is set to be another exciting and memorable festival. A selection of groups support Liberty, including Amici Dance Theatre, Cirque Nova and Emergency Exit Arts.

A party in Trafalgar Square
Visitors to Liberty 2010 can expect a day of fun and festivities, with a string of live performances in store. Highlights include live music from young bands The Fish Police, KDNA and Lizzie Emeh. There are also extracts from Reasons to be Cheerful, the new musical from the London based theatre group Graeae which draws inspiration from Ian Dury's songs. All are welcome to join the fun and make the most of a day of entertainment in support of worthy causes.

Acrobatic Liberty
One of the major attractions at this year's Liberty festival is set to be the stunning acrobatic acts. Enjoy aerial performances and acrobatic routines by Amici Dance Theatre and Cirque Nova, and let the kids explore the potential of wind at the Up In The Air themed children's zone, featuring wind machines and stimulating sounds and fabrics.

Equality and diversity
It goes without saying that London is a famously diverse city and events such as the Liberty 2010 festival act as further evidence of the city’s commitment to equality for all Londoners. Show some support on the day in what promises to be an energetic, upbeat day of live entertainment.

Eclectic entertainment
Music, dance, comedy, circus and carnival acts, children's art, stalls and displays and more will be served up on a rich menu of entertainment in London, courtesy of the city’s best disabled artists. Other highlights include cabaret acts, street arts and poetry as well as entertainment for kids.
